Private Behavior Tutoring
Have a challenging situation with your dog? Not every dog (or owner) enjoys the group class experience. SPCA Tampa Bay offers private sessions to help people and their pets stay together. Over the years we've found that special attention can truly make the difference. Each session is designed to meet individual owner and canine needs.

Meet Our Instructor
Thamzen Waller is SPCA Tampa Bay's Sniff University Behavior Training Manager and a CGC evaluator with the AKC. Thamzen always knew she wanted a career with animals but did not want to be a Veterinarian. She became a dog trainer while getting her undergraduate degree and realized she really had a talent for understanding pet behavior. After graduating from Arizona State University she decided to obtain her Masters Degree in Animals in Public Policy from Tufts University. She was able to intern at the Tufts Animal Behavior clinic to increase her knowledge and research dog and cat behavior. She lives with her three dogs, Ten the dachshund, Morgan the mini poodle, Peanut Butter the (therapy certified) Chesapeake Bay Retriever and her cat, Si.
