Explore your cat’s favorite toys, treats and activities for use during class and homework training exercises. Practice making your cat’s carrier a great place to be! Watch Cats & Carriers: Friends not Foes by Catalyst Council.
Week 1: How to Speak Cat
Learn body language cues, what your cat enjoys, the best rewards, and clues as to what your cat is trying to tell you. We'll also do an intro on clicker training! Take home practice tips to prepare for the second workshop day.
Week 2: Training and Tricks
We'll introduce more complex clicker training such as nose touch and recall (come when called). We will play some kitty agility games and wrap up by teaching you how to teach your cat to do a trick!
Because of infection control reasons, we ask that you not bring your cat from home. We will match you with a shelter kitty for the day - a win for them too!

She was able to intern at the Tufts Animal Behavior clinic to increase her knowledge and research dog and cat behavior. She lives with her three dogs, Ten the dachshund, Morgan the mini poodle, Peanut Butter the (therapy certified) Chesapeake Bay Retriever and her cat, Si.
