Kids & Kritters Camp
Campers "rescue and adopt" a stuffed "pet" on their first day. During the week they take their new "pet" home to foster. At week's end they adopt the "pet," complete with adoptionpapers. Animal crafts, snacks and "Reading with Shelter Dogs" each day, too! 5 year oldchildren must have attended kindergarten and be entering 1st grade in 2015.
Campers learn what it takes to be a veterinarian, with focus on dogs, cats, farm animalsbirds, and small animals. Hands-on activities. A trip to Sweetwater Farms via tour bus isincluded! Each camper will be given an SPCA camp t-shirt to wear while attending. Enrollment is limited.

Do you have a child who wants to be a Veterinarian? Animal Cop? Campers talk to peoplewho are living their dream jobs including pet photographers, K-9 drug dog handlers, searchand rescue people, trainers, animal cops, a zoo keeper, a marine biologist, and more. Fieldtrip is included. Each camper will get an animal themed scrubtop to wear while attending camp.
Dates: Session 1: June 8-12 or Session 2: July 13-17 or Session 3: July 27-31
SPCA Kids Club kids are the example of compassion, kindness, and teamwork. Each child in this camp will become a Kids Club Member at the SPCA. A field trip to the Florida Aquarium is included in the cost of this camp!
