Community Support Associate ~ part-time position
Assist the Children and Community Outreach Programs Director with logistics and other tasks related to the delivery of education and community outreach material.

Sniff University Program Manager
Are you an outgoing people-person who enjoys networking at community events and marketing a full range of training classes and workshops to the general public and SPCA adopters? Can you work with a variety of software systems to deliver your marketing message digitally? Can you tackle the administrative duties behind the scenes to ensure that online registrations and reporting run smoothly?

SPCA Tampa Bay's Sniff University training school is growing. The program manager will combine marketing with administrative-related functions and a love for animals. This position will also teach classes. Training will be provided, as long as you have the desire to learn, and the compassion to work with people.

Position Requirements:  Three to five years in a customer-driven environment such as retail sales, teaching or community outreach. Demonstrated community involvement including volunteer service. Interest in learning to be a trainer. Apply to: PAllen@SPCATampaBay.org

Intake Counselor
Responsibilities include: facilitate intake for all owner surrendered animals, strays and transferred animals; drive company vehicle to retrieve sick/injured animals within Pinellas County; assist in transporting animals from placement partners; collect detailed behavioral and background information from customers relinquishing animals.

Position Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience working in an open admission shelter environment, veterinary office and/or animal welfare organization. Clean driving record, minimum 5 years. Working knowledge of the needs of a variety of animal species along with ability to appropriately handle many different animal types. Weekend and evening hours required.

Adoptions Counselor, Full-time

Position requires retail sales experience and the ability to deliver quality customer service. Handling animals safely and compassionately is key. Position includes daily work with a variety of computer systems.

Position Requirements:1-3 years experience working in a retail environment. Weekends and evening hours required.

Animal & Facility Care Attendant, Part-time
This is a 30-hour per week position that requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced environment; thorough cleaning skills and careful feeding of animals; high-quality customer service for customers, volunteers and colleagues; safely and compassionately handling animals.

Position Requirements: 1 to 3 years experience working in a cleaning profession and must be comfortable working around animals. Weekends, holiday and evening hours required. Drug free environment. No criminal history.
